She's not been on the music scene for long but already she's known for her quirky and unique dress sense.

So it was no surprise to see Jessie J in a very unusual get up when she performed at GAy in London last night.

The singer wore a Mickey Mouse vest top which she had customised with huge slashes that brought the garment down to her knees.


Underneath the ripped top, the 22-year-old wore black hot pants and a tiny boob tube and completed the outfit with towering gold heels.

And she whipped the sell-out crowd into a frenzy as she treated them to a set of her songs including the hits Do It Like A Dude and Price Tag.

But according to a source, she kept the crowd - some of whom had queued to see her since 8am - waiting, which nearly caused a riot.

They said that one girl fell ill as she stood in the packed, hot venue waiting for the pop star to come on stage.

And a fight also broke out in the middle of the crammed crowd, but was soon broken up.

But not all of them were disappointed and one fan even threw a pair of pink knickers at Jessie who then contemplated trying them on.

A few days ago, Jessie spoke about her style and look and admitted she wouldn't like to come up against Rihanna or Cheryl Cole in a beauty contest.

The 21-year-old I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here winner picked up her new customised car, which was fit for a princess.

The former X Factor star seemed delighted with her new ride, a cream Volkswagen Beetle convertible, which has a crown emblem printed on the bonnet and on the side panels.

The VW garage had spruced up the £20,000 car to signify her triumph in the Australian jungle last year as part of the reality show series.

She had choose a camel-coloured cape with a pale peach shirt, black leggings and new heels for her trip to the car showroom.

Stacey was dressed to impress at the awards bash in a floor-length black gown with crystal embellishment.

Solomon also made a guest appearance on X Factor in December as a roving reporting interviewing Matt Cardle’s supporters in Essex.

But while Stacey may have had her sights set on a career in TV presenting her over-enthusiasm left viewers confused and unable to hear her.

Days after Rhys Ifans was spotted slipping out of her home in his dressing gown, Anna Friel has confirmed one of showbusiness’s worst-kept secrets.

She admitted that she and the legendarily scruffy Welsh actor are an item.

‘I’m with Rhys and I’m very happy about it,’ said the 34-year-old actress who split from her long-term partner David Thewlis two months ago.


She and Ifans, 43, made their first public appearance together at the Hollywood hotel Chateau Marmont.

Sipping cocktails, they appeared to have difficulty keeping their hands off each other and, as they left, they linked arms around their backs.

The Notting Hill star is understood to be staying at Anna's house and has been spotted at the house several times in recent weeks.

The Welsh actor, who has previously dated Sienna Miller and Kimberley Stewart, is said to have grown close to Anna since filming Sky TV movie Neverland - a Peter Pan spin-off which sees Friel playing sexy pirate Elizabeth Bonny opposite Ifans' character Jimmy Hook.

But in the early hours of this morning Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy were pictured leaving The Brompton Club together, a move which suggest that the on-off couple are very much back together.

The couple enjoyed an evening at the exclusive members club in South Kensington, and emerged from the venue at 1.30am.


Harry and Chelsea then made their way to Beaufort House to spend some more time together.

Although the pair have enjoyed a number of dates in recent weeks this is the first time they have been pictured together since their split last year.

Earlier in the day Prince Harry cheered the England rugby team on to victory alongside his cousin Zara Phillips at Twickenham.

A police spokesperson said: ‘We can confirm that an unmarked police vehicle did hit a man at around 2 o clock.’

‘The man was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Services and he has sustained a leg injury, he should be released later today but I think he has broken his leg.’

But EastEnders star Neil McDermott, who plays Ryan Malloy in the soap, is at the centre of his drama this weekend after he admitted to cheating on his wife with a 16-year-old girl.

According to reports, the 30-year-old actor slept with the teenage fan just weeks after his wife Michelle had given birth to their first child, daughter Arabella.


And yesterday, he issued an apology in a desperate bid to save his three-and-a-half-year marriage.

Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, he said: 'I am so sorry: To my wife, ­daughter and our family for this ­betrayal. I love my wife and family dearly and I’m distraught that my life is now in tatters due to a stupid ­mistake.

'I’ve caused heartache to those I love most which I deeply regret. This was a one-off incident but I’ve let myself down as well as my wife and everyone who knows me. Now I just need privacy and time to do all I can to rebuild my family.'

His infidelity is believed to have happened last weekend when he made a personal appearance at the Glam nightclub in Stockton-on-Tees.

And according to a friend of the teenage girl, who has not been named, Neil, 30, started 'eyeing her up' as he signed autographs and took part in a Blind Date-style game.

The girl told her friend: 'Ryan just started staring at me through the crowd. It was so obvious that ­another girl, who I didn’t even know, turned to me and said, "He keeps looking at you".

'I was a bit starstruck to be honest as I love EastEnders and I’ve always really fancied Neil’s character Ryan.'

After paying £5 to have her picture taken with him, he kept mentioning to her which hotel he was staying at, and later met her at the hotel bar around 4am.

After having a drink together, they went to his hotel room and had sex but did not swap numbers in the morning and have not seen each other since.

Last night one of his friends said: 'Neil is absolutely ­devastated. He cannot believe he has been so stupid. This is not the way he usually behaves and he won’t make a mistake like this again.'

Neil met wife Michelle at London’s Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts when he was 19 and she was 18.

They have been ­together ever since and married at Airth Castle, Stirlingshire, in 2007 and their daughter was born last month.

And his betrayal comes two weeks after they took part in a glossy Hello! magazine shoot to show off six-week-old Arabella Betsy.

The doting father – whose character Ryan had a baby with Stacey Slater despite being in a relationship with Janine Butcher – posed for a series of ­heartwarming family snaps with Michelle and their child.

In EastEnders, he fathered a child with Stacey ­Slater, played by Lacey Turner, and married Janine three months later he married Janine who poisoned him and held him captive after finding out about the affair.

McDermott's agent was not available for comment today.

The football star, 26, is said to be preparing a summer wedding after proposing to underwear model Irina Shayk on Valentine's Day.

And reports in his native Portugal claim the 25-year-old Russian may be expecting their child.


Newspaper Correio da Manha said she had been seen sporting a small bump - as well as showing off her diamond engagement ring.

A friend of the ex-Manchester United star told the paper: 'Cristiano loves being a father.

Although they weren't planning having a baby so soon, the truth is that nothing makes him happier than his son.

'And the birth of the boy awakened Irina's desire to become a mother.

'They had been talking about marriage. Cristiano wanted something very special and romantic, and on Valentine's Day he travelled to New York to surprise Irina.

'He asked her to marry her.' The friend said Ronaldo's mum Dolores wants the couple to marry in the footballer's home town of Funchal, on the Portuguese island of Madeira.

But last night, Rosario Dawson left the audience at the Spirit Awards open-mouthed as she grabbed Paul Rudd's crotch as he went to present a gong.

The actor took his place at the podium at the awards in Santa Monica, California last night to present the Best Screenplay accolade with actress Eve Mendes.

But then actress Dawson ran on stage to join them and grabbed Rudd's crotch, much to his surprise.

Snubbed Stateside: Cheryl Cole misses out on judging job on U.S. X Factor show

Snubbed: Cheryl Cole is said to have missed out on a judging role on the U.S. X Factor show but is said to be being considered as a helper for Simon Cowell. Her accent and her profile in America are said to have been an issue for Fox execs


Speculation over whether she will be taking her seat next to Simon Cowell on the judging panel of the U.S. version of the X Factor has been running for weeks.

But Cheryl Cole’s American dream seems to have been dealt a fatal blow as it has emerged she has missed out on the top job, according to reports.

Instead of a judging role it appears she will be offered the role of Simon Cowell’s helper on the American version of the show, a huge blow to her hopes of launching her career stateside.


The role will be similar to the part played by the singer Sinnitta, who has helped the music mogul with his acts on the U.K. version of the show.

One source told the Daily Star: ‘People just don’t know who she is over there and people struggle to understand what she is saying.

‘Simon is consoling her with the offer of helping him win the first series, which would give her profile a massive boost.’

It is understood that executives at Fox TV have been wary of offering a place on the U.S. version of the hit talent show, despite her overwhelming success on the U.K. version, because of her strong Geordie accent.

Winning team? While Simon is said to be championing Cheryl in the U.S. it is believed the pair have not met up in the U.S. and it's up to Fox executives to determine the line-up of the show


Cheryl has always been fiercely proud of her gritty northern roots and regional accent, but if viewers in the U.S. can't understand what she's saying, the show will be in breach of strict U.S. TV regulations.

A source said: 'If audiences and contestants can't understand her, it is actually a regulatory offence.'

Worried TV chiefs are thought to have drafted in top Hollywood voice coach Bob Corff, who has worked with Sharon Osborne and on films including Kick-Ass in the past, to help Cheryl sound more 'American'.

But while she has been making every effort to appeal to American audiences and is said to have the support of Simon Cowell her aspirations appear to have been dampened.

A source told the paper: ‘Simon Cowell is still one of her biggest supporters. But even though the X Factor is his idea it’s the executives at Fox who have the ultimate say over the make-up of the show.’

But while the music mogul is said to champion Cheryl’s cause it has been reported that they haven’t met up since she has been in LA.

The source added: ‘Cheryl hasn’t heard or seen him since she arrived.’

And as her dreams of landing the top role on the American show are disappearing show bosses in the U.K. have already been looking for her replacement on the reality show with Supermodel Naomi Campbell being lined up to her place.

Still in contact: As Cheryl gets closer to Derek it has been reported that she speaks to former husband Ashley Cole 'everyday for hours'


But while focus has been on the uncertainty of her career there is also considerable curiosity surrounding her relationship status as she is said to have spent her time in Hollywood holed up in her hotel with Derek Hough but is also said to be in regular contact with ex-husband Ashley Cole.

Cheryl is said to have spent her time stateside staying in with dancer Derek at her villa at the Sunset Marquis complex in West Hollywood.

And the pair seem to have been getting on so well that Cheryl was invited to a family dinner with Derek’s mother Marriann and stepfather Aaron at Soho house in LA.

The dancer’s sister Julianne Hough and her boyfriend TV presenter Ryan Seacrest were also present for the dinner to celebrate Derek’s mother’s birthday.

And it seems that the singer was a big hit with Derek’s parents and a source from the restaurant told The Sunday Mirror: ‘Derek’s mum and dad looked very taken with Cheryl and his mum spent a fair amount of time locked in conversation with her.’

But while the pair seem closer than ever it has also been reported that Cheryl has been very much in contact with her ex-husband Ashley Cole.

The former couple are said to have met up on a number of occasions and a source told the Daily Star that Ashley calls the singer every day spending hours on the phone.

The source at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground told the paper: ‘It’s like the first flush of love again. He calls her ‘my sweet Geordie princess’ – something the other lads take the mickey out of him relentlessly for.’

The 50-year-old actress enjoyed an outing in Manhattan with her husband Bart Freundlich and her daughter Liv.

The 8-year-old is clearly taking after her famous mother with her long red hair and alabaster skin.


The couple also have a son Caleb, 13, who sat the shopping trip out.

Moore is expected to return to the West Coast in time for the Academy Awards tomorrow.

While the star, who was nominated for a Golden Globe, was snubbed in the Oscar nominations she is still expected to join the rest of The Kids Are All Right cast on the red carpet.

The film has been nominated for best picture while her co-stars Mark Ruffalo and Annette Bening are up for best supporting actor and best actress respectively.

Moore says the film, which focuses on a lesbian couple raising two children, made her reflect on her own family values.

She revealed last week that she was convinced to tie the knot with her second husband, a director, by a therapist.

'The only reason I got married in 2003 was for my children,' she said.

'I had a therapist who said marriage is really a container for a family and that made sense to me. Bart and I have been together for years.

Moore admits she struggles to find time to spend just with her husband.

'I wouldn't say that it was easy. I think it's what anybody I know who has a family and a career deals with,' she said.

'It's a challenging balance. I feel fortunate that I've had both: and I work really hard to maintain both of them.'

Not what most expectant mothers can squeeze into as they approach their fifth month of pregnancy.

But then again, Posh, 36, isn't like most mums-to-be and has never been one for maternity clothes, even when she was pregnant with her last three children.

David looked his usual dapper self in a green blazer, black waistcoat and smart jeans, while all three boys were dressed in jeans and T-shirts for the casual party.

The bash, which takes place every year, took place at the Coldwater Canyon Park in Beverly Hills.

Other guests included pregnant actress Jessica Alba, who arrived with husband Cash Warren and their daughter Honor Marie, who looked tired as she clutched her mother's hand and rubbed her eyes, TV chat show host Ellen Degeneres leaves with her actress partner Portia de Rossi, and actors Chevy Chase and Martin Short.

Wedding dilemma: Best Actress Oscar Favourite Natalie Portman can't decide location for ceremony

Natalie Portman is favourite to win the Best Actress Oscar for her role in Black Swan but she is having less luck with her wedding plans.

The 29-year-old star and her French boyfriend Benjamin Millepied, 33, met on the set of Darren Aronofsky’s psychological thriller and are expecting their first child this summer.


But friends of the actress, who was born in Jerusalem before her family moved to the United States, say the couple are torn over where to hold the ceremony.

Paris is their first choice but Natalie’s parents would rather have it in the US or Israel,’ says a friend.

‘Natalie is close to her mother and father so she feels duty-bound to agree. Her plans are still up in the air.’

Madonna, who is hosting a post-Oscars party with Demi Moore, has been telling everyone that W. E. – her forthcoming film about the affair between King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson – is set to become a major hit.

‘Madonna was saying the film had a three-minute screening at Berlin and within minutes it had secured syndication around the world, which is unheard of for an uncompleted film,’ says a source.

‘Everyone was expecting her to make a flop but it seems she may be spot-on.’

When I caught up with the 28-year-old actress she was wearing oversized glasses and sporting the new ‘geek chic’ look.

Anne arrived for dinner having just finished rehearsing at the Kodak Theatre ahead of tonight’s ceremony, which she is presenting with James Franco.

While she wouldn’t say if she actually needs to wear glasses, the Devil Wears Prada star clearly enjoyed the attention she was getting.

‘I love them,’ she told a guest over a glass of Grey Goose Le Fizz.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell is being lined up to replace Cheryl Cole as a judge on The X Factor.

Show bosses want the 40-year-old model to join the programme if Ms Cole decides to leave for a job on Simon Cowell’s new American version of the series.

Miss Campbell would be one of two new faces to join the panel, alongside returning judges Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh, when the next series airs in August.


The Mail on Sunday understands ITV and production company talkbackThames are also looking for a male star with a global reach on the same scale as Miss Campbell to help shore up the panel, amid fears that the departure of Cole and Cowell will send ratings into freefall.

Channel executives are increasingly afraid that former Girls Aloud singer Ms Cole will be crossing the Atlantic along with Cowell to work on his US version of The X Factor.

Miss Campbell is seen as being of the calibre of celebrity needed to inject new glamour and maintain peak ratings.

The Streatham-born model has struck up an unlikely friendship with music mogul Cowell in recent years. She was spotted backstage at the X Factor studios in Wembley, North London, last year, where she revealed she is an avid viewer of the Saturday night series and spoke of her ‘love’ for the 51-year-old X Factor boss.

She said: ‘Simon is an institution. I love him. I watch The X Factor every week and it drives my boyfriend insane. I’m torn about who I want to win.’

Miss Campbell, who is dating Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin, was one of 400 guests at Cowell’s £1 million star-studded 50th birthday party in 2009.

However, critics of Miss Campbell will wonder how much authority she could bring to The X Factor, given her lack of success in the music industry. In 1995 she released her debut album as a singer, Baby Woman, which peaked at 75 in the UK charts despite an appearance on BBC 1’s Top Of The Pops to promote the first single from the record, Love And Tears.

She has also made minor appearances on tracks by American rapper Vanilla Ice and legendary US record producer Quincy Jones.

Her music video credits include playing the love interest to Michael Jackson in his 1991 song In The Closet, and lip-synching alongside fellow super¬models Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington in Freedom!, George Michael’s 1990 single.

ITV executives hope charity ambassador Ms Campbell will also add a new dimension by advising contestants on dealing with life in the public eye, but eyebrows will be raised at the suggestion of her providing guidance, given her notorious temper.

In 2000 the model pleaded guilty in a Toronto court to assault on a personal assistant, and in 2006 she was found guilty of assaulting her housekeeper in New York. In 2008 she was sentenced to 200 hours’ community service for assaulting a police officer at Heathrow after an item of her luggage was lost.

ITV is keen to maintain The X Factor’s position as one of the most popular programmes on TV.

It has been among the three most-watched TV shows for the past four years, reaching a peak when 18 million watched Matt Cardle crowned winner in December.

Those ratings helped the channel earn more than £75 million from the sale of advertising slots during last year’s series.

An X Factor spokeswoman said: ‘No decisions have been made at this stage.’

A spokesman for Ms Campbell declined to comment.
